MICHAEL C. WORTHINGTON
Co-Founder/Chief Marketing Officer
Michael Worthington is the chief marketing officer of BrightDoor Systems, which he co-founded with Deven Spear in 2005. From 1996 to 2005, Worthington served as chief creative officer of VisionFactory and Marketecture, directing both companies in the development of industry-leading software solutions for business-to-business customer experience management.
Worthington’s 20 years of experience and knowledge in the areas of media & entertainment, computing, and audio-visual technologies fuels his ability to design business solutions that inform, engage and motivate.
During his tenure with VisionFactory and Marketecture, Worthington’s vision was realized in many of the company's innovative software solutions such as the iNav presentation platform and eSpace experiential environments. Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard, Raytheon and Nortel Networks were among the Fortune 500 businesses that enjoyed a competitive advantage from sales and marketing solutions resulting from his creativity and leadership.
At BrightDoor, Worthington has focused his entrepreneurial spirit into the company's marketing function as well as setting the strategic direction for the entire product suite. In three short years, he has transformed BrightDoor from a regional software start-up into an international provider of best-in-class software for the real estate industry.
Worthington graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1988 with a BA in Radio, Television & Motion Pictures with a minor focus in Dramatic Arts. He is a self-avowed technology enthusiast and film buff. He is married and is the father of two girls and one boy.
