SEAN HARRISON
Chief Operating Officer
Sean Harrison brings over 15 years of management experience in technology and services sectors to BrightDoor. Throughout his career he has been successful in technical, management and executive positions at Fortune 500 companies and venture backed startups. His entrepreneurial spirit and focus on execution has consistently delivered value to customers, partners, employees and investors. As COO, Mr. Harrison leads finance, business development and oversees BrightDoor's daily operations.
His first enterprise, Netstation, where he was founder and CEO, was acquired in 1998 by Nortel, yielding a 12x return on invested capital in one year. In 2000, Mr. Harrison co-founded and was CEO of WindWire, a wireless software and services company that was acquired by InPhonic in 2003. Mr. Harrison was previously VP of Engineering at Nortel and held numerous senior management and software development positions at IBM. He is co-founder and chairman of the board of Alliance Medical Ministry, a N.C.-based non-profit that provides affordable primary medical care to the working uninsured.
Mr. Harrison has an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
